Los condados de Miami-Dade y Broward en la Florida, Estados Unidos, resultaron afectados por las constantes lluvias que han dejado algunas calles y áreas inundadas.
Ante esto, el Servicio Meteorológico Nacional (NWS, por sus siglas en inglés) emitió una alerta de inundaciones hasta las 6.00 de la mañana, de este jueves 16 de noviembre.

Las ciudades afectadas en Miami-Dade son: Miami, Hialeah, Miramar, Miami Beach, Coral Gables, Key Biscayne, South Miami, Surfside, Virginia Key, Kendall, Miami Gardens, The Redland, North Miami, Doral, North Miami Beach, Aventura, Miami Lakes, Hialeah Gardens, Sunny Isles Beach y Pinecrest.
En Broward, las ciudades incluidas en el aviso son: Fort Lauderdale, Pembroke Pines, Hollywood, Miramar, Coral Springs, Pompano Beach, Davie, Plantation, Sunrise, Deerfield Beach, Tamarac, Margate, Lighthouse Point, Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, Hallandale, Lauderhill, Coconut Creek y Oakland Park.

De acuerdo con el pronóstico del tiempo de Telemundo 51, se esperan fuertes lluvias sobre ambos condados.
Se mantienen las advertencias y avisos de vientos fuerte en el sur de Florida. También se prevé la presencia de mareas del rey, que ocurre cuando las olas alcanzan el tamaño más alto de una temporada.
